NGL Marketing Coordinator at Targa Resources in Naperville, Illinois

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Coordinator NGL Marketing will be responsible for Scheduling Trucks and Data Entry.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Schedule liftings with customers to keep refineries working and manage inventory at Targa terminals

·       Understand economic impact of scheduling decisions to P&L

·       Enter daily movements, create automatcher rules, update postings, enter deals into RA

·       Upload truck tickets into Sharepoint

·       Assist and support marketing staff with customer relations, sales, and service. 

·       Assist and support Analyst with customer lifting information to manage P&L, Risk and Inventory Information.

·       Perform front line response to customer request involving dispatch of product delivered via truck and rail.  Maintain communication with terminals, customers, and common carriers to assure delivery schedules are met in a timely manner. 

·       Prepare and maintain records of customer product delivery requirements. Update customers with contract performance information.

·       Monitor, review, and reconcile inventory and sales to keep propane moving through all the terminals ratably.

·       Maintain contract performance reports and alert marketing rep and director with variances from contracted volumes.  

·      Provide support as requested for teammates

·       Occasional travel to plants, refineries, and customer facilities   

·       Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or related work experience.

·       Strong interpersonal communication skills. Remains effective and positive dealing with customers and coworkers.

·       Strong analytical skills and computer skills.

·       Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize work. 

·       Ability to work with minimum supervision. 

·       On call to handle issues after work hours

·       Regular and reliable attendance

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·       BS in Marketing

·       Demonstrated ability to think critically and develop solutions to complex distribution problems

·       RightAngle S21 experience

·       Excel experience
