Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Director of Admissions within the higher education sector. This direct-hire opportunity in St. Louis, MO , is ideal for a strategic and data-driven leader with experience in graduate and post-graduate admissions. The Director of Admissions will oversee recruitment, enrollment, and admissions strategies, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for prospective students.

Location: St. Louis, MO


Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 (DOE)


Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite



Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership


  • Develop and implement admissions strategies to meet annual enrollment goals.

  • Lead and support the admissions team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and revenue objectives.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Financial Aid, and Academic Affairs to enhance student engagement and execute targeted recruitment campaigns.



Operations & Process Management


  • Oversee the full admissions cycle, from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

  • Analyze enrollment trends and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize recruitment strategies.

  • Establish and maintain policies for a transparent, equitable, and compliant admissions process.



Team Leadership


  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing admissions team.

  • Provide coaching, professional development, and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness.

  • Foster a collaborative, student-focused culture within the admissions department.



Outreach & Recruitment


  • Represent the institution at recruitment events, college fairs, and outreach initiatives.

  • Cultivate partnerships with high schools, community colleges, and other feeder institutions.

  • Expand recruitment efforts to attract a diverse domestic and international student population.



Compliance & Reporting


  • Ensure adherence to institutional policies and federal/state admissions regulations.

  • Regularly report admissions metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

  • Stay informed on higher education trends and enrollment strategies to maintain a competitive edge.



Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in admissions or enrollment management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams of 6+ required.

  • Proven success in developing and executing admissions strategies.

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and admissions systems.
