Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their accounting team and oversee financial operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization and ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
Overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Preparing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with established schedules.
Managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and regulations.
Leading the budgeting and forecasting process.
Conducting financial analysis to identify trends and variances.
Collaborating with auditors for annual audits and tax filings.
Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Work Hours
Full-time position with standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range from $80,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
