Position Overview



Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Referral Specialist to join their client's department in New Haven Connecticut. This role involves being the central point of contact for all medical office activity related to patient referrals. The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge of medical practices and terminology, ensuring the seamless coordination and scheduling of patient referrals.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central point of contact for all medical office activity related to patient referrals for a specific department.


• Apply substantial knowledge of medical practices and terminology to evaluate all incoming referrals and oversee coordination and scheduling of patient ambulatory referrals.


• Serve as the main contact for all new patient referrals and provide scheduling information to referring provider offices, patients, and schedulers.


• Provide information to patients and others on department scheduling policies, providers, procedures, and locations.


• Handle confidential and sensitive patient information professionally, complying with HIPAA regulations.

Required Work Hours & Pay Rate:



Must be available between 7AM and 7PM. $31 per hour, 37.5 hours a week
