Quality Engineer-Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: St. Louis, MO
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Day Shift (Direct Hire)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement new quality processes and inspection techniques.
Prepare inspection and test instructions to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
Interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
Review Job Travelers and work instructions to ensure quality requirements are properly documented and followed.
Analyze quality cost factors and implement root-cause corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
Apply statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve manufacturing quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
Maintain compliance with aerospace industry regulations and customer specifications.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering , OR 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX and CATIA) .
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques .
Experience: Prior experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.
Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contract requirements.
