This role is responsible for ensuring product quality, developing inspection processes, and implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Location: St. Louis, MO



Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 (DOE)



Job Type: Full-Time, Day Shift (Direct Hire)



Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement new quality processes and inspection techniques.


• Prepare inspection and test instructions to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.


• Interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.


• Review Job Travelers and work instructions to ensure quality requirements are properly documented and followed.


• Analyze quality cost factors and implement root-cause corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.


• Apply statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve manufacturing quality.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.


• Maintain compliance with aerospace industry regulations and customer specifications.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering , OR 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer.


• 
  Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is a plus.


• 
  Technical Skills:
  
  
  
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX and CATIA) .
  
  
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  
  
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control techniques .

  Experience: Prior experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.


• 
  Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contract requirements.
