Position Summary:



Accurate, real-time collection, maintenance, and management of data are critical to the survival of the BMT Program. It provides the documentation necessary for the mandatory regulatory oversight that the BMT program is subject to. Inaccurate or untimely documentation can lead the relevant regulatory entities to apply sanctions up to the shutting down of the BMT Program. The BMT Data Coordinator will act in a lead role for the BMT Data Informatics management, CIBMTR and FACT accreditation liaison, implement the utilization of commercial database software for the accurate and timely electronic, management of reports and data analysis.



Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biology, or Health Informatics; three years or more experience in cancer registry or cancer patient chart review. Computer literacy and data management.
