We invent, manufacture, and support an industry-leading range of high-performance microscopy solutions that provide imaging and analytical capabilities at the micro-, nano-, and picometer scales.
How Will You Make an Impact?
Our distributed team specializes in electron, ion, and light microscopy for Materials Science applications.
Responsibilities include developing business opportunities, strategizing sales, and mentoring on SEM, FIB, and DualBeam solutions. Understand customer requirements.
This role focuses primarily on SEM product lines, with additional support for DualBeam solutions.
What Will You Do?
Sales & Customer Engagement
Lead technical product presentations and demonstrations to showcase applications and outstanding product features.
Accompany sales managers on customer visits to assess key application needs, decision criteria, and competitive positioning.
Support business development initiatives, including workshops, trade shows, and targeted marketing campaigns.
Product & Market Expertise
Provide customer feedback to support product progress and future developments.
Evaluate, recommend, and detail accessory solutions for SEM/DualBeam systems.
Develop sales support materials, such as application notes, competitive matrices, and product scorecards.
Technical & Application Development
Participate in beta testing of new hardware and software pre-releases.
Work closely with application development teams to translate customer needs into innovative product features.
Publish technical papers and articles in industry journals and present at professional symposia.
What You'll Need
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Experience
Experience in a relevant technical environment.
Extensive hands-on experience with SEM and DualBeam systems and their applications in academic, government, or industrial settings.
TEM experience is valuable but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Deep technical expertise in SEM/DualBeam technology.
Proven success working effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong customer engagement and problem-solving skills.
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Up to 50% domestically and internationally travel (valid passport required).
