Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Contract Coordinator to assist in bid management and contract coordination for the Commercial team.
Daily Responsibilities:
Document Management:
Access and review submissions from the intake portal.
1. Download, coordinate, and handle bid-related documents.
Populate and maintain bid response folders.
Bid Processing:
Supervise customer portals for updates and submission formats.
1. Draft, finalize, and submit bid responses.
Review commercial terms in terms and conditions and bid specifications.
1. Confirm receipt of bid responses and handle follow-up communications.
Coordination and Communication:
Ensure pricing is processed with the appropriate niche structure.
1. Engage with sales representatives to assemble vital information and documentation.
Collaborate with other team members such as legal for review of the legal terms within the bid, finance and other functions, as necessary.
1. Initiate communication with sales regarding bid processes and deadlines.
Shared Responsibilities with other collaborators:
Validation and Compliance:
Validate and confirm bid requirements and technical specifications.
1. Coordinate the preparation and submission of bid documents.
Submit questions to customers and handle Q&A documents.
Documentation Preparation:
Draft and finalize cover letters and divider sheets for bid submissions.
1. Ensure all bid documents align with customer instructions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with sales representatives to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

How will you get here?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years experience in contract management, bid management, or a related role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant contract management software.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowing when and how to bring up important matters for legal review is crucial.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $75,800.00-$113,675.00.
