As a Detective Technician you will build special radiation detector systems including internal electronic components to support the Detective product line. You will perform QC testing and troubleshoot vacuum and electronic problems, load GE crystals into mechanically cooled cryogenic systems.

The Detective Technician will:

• Clean, stage, and assemble parts for Detective system
• Handle and load Ge crystals into the Detective system
• Solder and/or braze parts
• Operation of helium leak detector and other vacuum equipment
• Clean and maintain lab equipment
• Clean and maintain vacuum system
• Perform QC testing
• Troubleshoot systems
• Provide support in all phases of Detective manufacturing and service

The Detective Technician Requirements:

• Two-year Associate degree from college or technical school and minimum of two years' experience as a technician or without degree 6 years of related experience.
• Familiarity with computers and standard electronic test equipment
• Previous mechanical assembly experience

Compensation

Employee Type: Hourly

Salary Minimum: $40,000

Salary Maximum: $60,000
