Family Therapist



Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Family Therapist in the BHN Family Centerprogram at Behavioral Health Network!

Here's what you'll do:

• Providing clinical therapeutic, educational, and support services to individuals and their families.


• Completing intakes, comprehensive assessments, screening, orientation, and assessment functions for individuals.


• Developing individual treatment plans and aftercare plans based on individuals' needs.


• Working with the childcare team to implement child service plans and monitoring progress (i.e., school enrollments, camp, therapy services, etc.).


• Attending & sharing updates at Plan of Safe Care meetings for all infants to ensure continuity of care.


• Communicating updates and referral information between the Child Care team and collaterals (schools, childcare, summer camps, Horizons for the Homeless, etc.).


• Planning monthly Family Engagement Events to update families on their loved ones' treatment & care and available resources (i.e., Al-Anon, Learn to Cope, etc.) regarding family systems, family development, group and individual treatment issues, and other areas of expertise.

What are we looking for in a Family Therapist?

• 
  Master's Degree in related field (required).
  


• Experience in Substance Use Disorder or mental health (preferred).


• Ability to develop rapport with substance-abusing populations and families.
