The Sr. Manager IT Business Planning - Retail Technology is responsible for the overall development and maintenance of strategic planning, performance monitoring, and developing and maintaining business relationships by working with internal stakeholders to ensure Technology Retail alignment with business objectives, creating and managing retail technology and business planning in direct collaboration with VP Technology - Retail.

Candidates must be located in commutable distance to our Stillwater, MN office location.
This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office 1-3 days per week. The acceptable split between onsite and remote work is determined by the manager. Hybrid associates may choose to work from an office on a more frequent basis than required.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Develops and implements retail technology plans to improve products, platforms, and services by partnering with internal stakeholders to align with business goals and objectives
Identifies and communicates the needs and relevant challenges to leaders across different business units and turns them into feasible and aligned strategy and project plans
Leads strategy and maintains an agile mindset to pivot strategy plans as needed to maintain business value creation through change management and business partnerships
Identifies opportunities for new business partnerships or growth strategies, creates communications and proposals
Provides oversight and leadership for major initiatives and programs, which include retail technology and/or associates that fall within other business units
Business Relationships
Develops effective relationships across internal business units, including at the leadership level
Acts as a liaison for Technology - Retail and business teams to ensure technological retail services are aligned to business needs and goals
Manages business negotiations that add to strategic planning and roadmaps
Acts on behalf of VP Technology Retail when required in strategy planning
Project Management
Implement processes to monitor, set appropriate milestones and track overall project performance and dependencies across multiple inter-related projects
Ensures Retail Technology projects are delivered on time and within budget
Builds an environment that fosters learning, growth and team engagement, and champions fulfilling the organization's mission through highly successful project implementation.
Job Requirements:
Education/ Certifications:
BS degree in Business Management, Information Technology or related.
Experience:
5-8 years' experience in a role delivering enterprise-wide strategy programs, account management that includes technology strategy
Experience in technology strategy roadmaps and stakeholder management
Experience in strategic planning and implementing business plans that increase business value
Experience in stakeholder management, working with a diverse population of stakeholders, including senior leadership
Experience managing budget, timeline, and scope for projects and programs
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong personal relationship, conflict management and negotiation skills
Knowledge in strategic and project planning
Proficiency with e-learning design & development using platforms such as Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, etc.
Abilit to be flexible and adaptable to learning and applying new ways of working and innovation
Confidently learn new technology and/or data and analytics platforms
Ability to design and deliver presentations to audiences at all levels, including senior leadership
Expert proficiency utilizing MS Office applications, especially MS PPT and MS Excel
Industry knowledge preferred
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
