Maintenance Associate

Lakeside Book Company is looking for fulltime general maintenance associate for our warehouse facility. As the largest book maker and book distributer in the United States, you will help put books in the hands of readers across the country.

Starting Rate: $16.50-$19.55 per hour depending upon skill and experience.

• $100 Safety shoe reimbursement
• Company will provide all the tools necessary
• 2 weeks of vacation (pro-rated in Year 1)
• Cross training and development provided

Work Hours: Days 7:30am-4pm weekdays plus overtime as scheduled.

Location: 1799 Highway 50 East, Linn, MO 65051

As a Maintenance Associate, you will:

• Perform routine cleaning duties on windows, floors and surfaces
• Maintain common areas: locker rooms, rest rooms and break areas
• Perform light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, lubricating doors
• Replenish supplies
• Assist with light grounds keeping duties such as shoveling sidewalks, trimming hedges, spreading de-icing materials

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry 20 to 40 pounds

• Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
