Pressroom - Material Handler 1 at Lakeside Book Company in Willard, Ohio

Job Description:

Starting Wage: $18.00/hr.

$2.00/hr. shift differential when working 2 nd & 3 rd shift!

Work Hours: Rotating Shifts (Every 6 weeks) 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, 11PM-7AM

Work Location: Willard, Ohio

As a Material Handler in the Pressroom, you will:

• Operate robots and stackers that collect sections of books coming off our printing presses.
• Strap book sections together and places them on pallets.
• Inspect for quality defects.
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating the equipment to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry 20-50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
• Consistent work experience preferred
• Machine experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to rotate shifts and or days
• Work overtime when scheduled
