Senior Project Manager - M&A Integrations
Seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the diligence and integration of acquired entities within the financial services industry. This role is critical to ensuring successful onboarding and value realization from mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Books and Records data, Data Aggregation planning and testing, and Application review and decision-making.
Must-Have Qualifications
7+ years of project management experience in the financial services industry, including work with RIAs or broker-dealers
Direct experience with Books and Records data, Data Aggregation planning/testing, and Application evaluation
Strong background in M&A, integration, or system conversion projects
Expertise in managing cross-functional teams across Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Legal
Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute detailed integration project plans
Define project scope, goals, and success criteria aligned with M&A business objectives
Track milestones, identify risks, and drive resolution of roadblocks to ensure timely execution
Conduct regular status updates with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed
Manage change control, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure alignment across all business units
Perform post-integration retrospectives to improve future M&A playbooks
Preferred Skills
Deep understanding of investment industry data structures and regulatory reporting requirements
Proven ability to lead through influence and build strong relationships across multiple teams
Comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
Experience in independent broker-dealer or wealth management operations is a plus
