Job Overview


Weatherford is seeking a skilled Pumping Unit Services Field Operator to join our team in Gillette, WY. In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on operation and maintenance of Artificial Lift/Pumping Unit equipment, machinery, and systems. As a valued member of our field crew, you will work under the guidance of a Field Engineer or Field Specialist to ensure efficient and effective delivery of our services.


Responsibilities

• Pre-load job with no supervision
• Rig up and rig down cranes and bucket trucks
• Repair and maintain pumping units
• Drive company vehicle to location when required
• Maintain neat housekeeping
• Understand and comply with Weatherford's Quality Policy, Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies
• Perform work assignments to the highest quality standards
• Carry out various other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work at heights
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work long and/or irregular hours as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Pumping unit repair experience
• Basic computer skills
• 2+ years of oilfield experience
