Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate - New Goods

Wage Range: $17.99-20.25

Location: Kirkland

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

About the Position

The New Goods Material Handler receives and distributes to all stores of new goods to enhance Evergreen Goodwill's revenue stream.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.


  • Receive deliveries and match with bill of lading.
  • Match delivered items with orders.
  • Distribute new goods to various stores.
  • Price new goods as needed for specific stores
  • Break down boxes and recycle boxes daily.
  • Keep New Goods coordinator informed or all order discrepancies.
  • Coordinate transportation to stores with dispatch.
  • Provide backup support for the Production Department and the Warehouse.
  • Consistent and safe execution of duties associated with forklift operation when certified to Seattle Goodwill standards.*
  • Demonstrates safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:


  • High school graduate or equivalency preferred, but not required
  • No experienced required, previous warehouse experience a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:


  • If applicable to job role: Goodwill Forklift certification optional, must meet eligibility requirements

Physical Abilities:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to lift and carry up to 30-40 pounds; have developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; standing for long periods, frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain). Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.
