Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for a Receptionist in Fresno, CA. As a Receptionist you will:
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, conference rooms, and office spaces to create a professional, welcoming environment.
Greet visitors professionally and notify the appropriate staff of their arrival.
Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing them to the appropriate personnel or taking accurate messages.
Handle incoming mail and faxes, distributing them to the correct departments. Prepare and coordinate outgoing mail, UPS, and FedEx shipments.
Monitor and manage office supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock while adhering to budget guidelines.
Schedule and coordinate facility maintenance and repairs, researching competitive pricing and obtaining management approval for significant expenditures.
Serve as the primary contact for service providers, including printing services, alarm systems, cleaning crews, and IT support. Coordinate service requests as needed.
Assist with customer service tasks, including follow-ups, data entry, product research, and report preparation.
Create professional correspondence, memos, spreadsheets, flyers, and other documents as requested.
Help coordinate company events such as customer visits, holiday parties, staff lunches, and executive meetings, managing logistics, catering, and communication.
Provide administrative assistance to various departments as needed and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to discussions as required.
This is a full-time opportunity. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
Pay rate is $19.00 per hour
