ECS is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to work in our Fairfax, VA office on a hybrid, on-site/remote work schedule with ability to support shift work. ECS has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Cloud Engineer to join a team supporting a large Department of Defense (DoD) Program. The Junior Cloud Engineer will aid in designing, implementing, and maintaining DoD Mission Partner Enclaves' virtual infrastructure in an Azure Cloud environment. The candidate must be able to work in a demanding, high-energy environment that requires innovative solutions to business challenges.

Duties:

• 
  Work on a team as a Cloud Engineer in an Azure GovCloud environment servicing a DoD customer.


• 
  Assist in developing innovative solutions to network, hardware, and software problems.


• 
  Collaborate with other Cloud Engineers to support infrastructure support requests.


• 
  Administrate and manage cloud infrastructure.


• 
  Assist peers by providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise for complex problems.


• 
  Aid in troubleshooting end users’ account issues.


• 
  Assist with operating system updates, upgrades, and patches.


• 
  Maintain the enterprise Active Directory.


• 
  Document any developed processes and procedures.


• 
  Perform other tasks, as assigned.


• 
  Track and maintain overall user awareness, user accesses, and associated hardware, both CONUS and OCONUS. 


• 
  Support shift work as needed in order to provide seamless user assistance to OCONUS users.
