Receiving Lead - Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm at Distribution Management Inc in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Responsibilities Include:
The receiving lead will act as the subject matter expert in support of the department, supervisor and DC Manager. They will be the team "go-to" for procedural related guidance.

Complete the pre-shift checklist (e.g., gather supplies and materials).

Work in coordination with the supervisor to assign daily priorities and participate in shift meetings.

Partner with supervisor to identify root cause of performance issues.

Inspect inbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.

Track quality variances and identify when other process improvements are needed.

Partner with on-site trainer to mentor new employees. Ensure SOPs and DC policies are being followed.

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Dress Code-Specifics Required

Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.

Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
