Responsibilities
Enable the adoption of DevOps best practices through the administration and support of development tools.
Ensure the availability and resilience of development tools that orchestrate application delivery.
Drive the adoption of DevOps culture across the enterprise through team engagements and coaching.
Facilitate training on enterprise tools and best practices.
Support and troubleshoot modern development tools.
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of Linux experience with a deep understanding of Linux systems and strong core Unix skills.
Experience with Unix shell scripting.
Good working knowledge of build automation and continuous integration/delivery ecosystems: Git, Groovy, Kotlin, Gerrit, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, Selenium, Python.
Test-driven mindset with experience in automation with development tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and methodical approach to responsibilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to perform work with little guidance or instructions.
Preferred Skills
Solid understanding of Cloud Native concepts such as 12-factor development.
Experience with infrastructure configuration and automation processes and tools: Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Fabric.
Involvement in the DevOps community through open-source contributions.
