The Senior, Financial Analyst provides analytical support for the annual planning and periodic forecasting processes, develop and utilize analytics to evaluate financial plans, and support various financial planning processes. This role will also involve assisting in the analysis and review of quarterly operating results, supporting the quarterly earnings cycle, and providing ad hoc financial analytics for executive management.



Responsibilities

  • Annual Planning and Forecasting:
  • Provide analytical support for the annual planning and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Develop and utilize analytics to evaluate the annual plan and quarterly forecast, including target setting processes, sensitivity analysis, historical trend analysis, and alignment with long-range strategic financial models.
  • Support global balance sheet, capital spend, and cash flow planning processes, including consolidating inputs from Treasury, Accounting, global FBS leads, Global Transaction Services, and Supply Chain finance.
  • Quarterly Operating Results and Guidance:
  • Assist in the analysis and review of quarterly operating results and guidance for external/internal communications.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance versus prior year, guidance, consensus, etc.; investigate and communicate variances, trends, and other metrics.
  • Provide analysis in support of the quarterly earnings cycle, including quarterly profit reconciliations, financial dashboards, and other ad hoc reporting to assist CFO/Investor Relations.
  • Ad Hoc Analyses and Strategic Initiatives:
  • Assist in ad hoc analyses and implementation of CFO strategic initiatives.
  • Support executive management (CEO/CFO) by providing ad hoc financial analytics from a consolidated global perspective on a monthly, quarterly, and recurring basis.



Minimum Education/ Experience



Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.



Preferred Education/ Experience


MBA with 3+ years relevant work experience.



Specific Skills or Experience Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and forecasting.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications

    • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Knowledge of Financial Regulations: Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

    • Foreign Currency Analysis: Experience in analyzing the impact of foreign currency fluctuations on financial forecasts and plans.
