About the Opportunity:




PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



Coordinate domestic and international shipments for the Ramsey facility. Assist in directing the day-to-day aspects of the Shipping area; ensuring efficiency, quality, productivity and safety.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

• Direct and train team members in their responsibilities with proper procedures.


• Perform daily review of sales order scheduled ship dates and assembly completion dates to gather appropriate information to coordinate facility shipments


• Monitor trailer log and dock door reports


• Coordinate with carriers for 'will call', LTL, intra-company and distribution center shipments maintaining a high level of customer service for all internal & external customers while adhering to ATO and Shipping schedules


• Communicate with drivers and carriers to provide leadership to shipping associates as necessary


• Run pick tickets and labels; coordinate with shipping associates to pick jobs


• Reconcile bills of lading (BOLs) with pick ticket, work orders and load log for each shipment; identify and communicate discrepancies


• Obtain drivers' signature on reconciled BOLs and perform ship confirms in Oracle


• Monitor department supply levels and order supplies as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of one-year related experience


• High School diploma/equivalent


• Computer experience using MS Excel and Outlook


• Ability to learn Oracle and OBI reporting


• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced team environment


• Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write and understand)


• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills


• Excellent customer service skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift up to 50 lbs rarely and 30 lbs frequently.


• Walk, stand, bend, squat, kneel, twist/turn, reach overhead, climb ladder/stairs and grasp tools as necessary.

Your base wage will be between $22.25 - $28.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You'll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
