Maintenance Industrial Electrician at Loparex LLC in Malvern, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Loparex LLC is the world's largest manufacturer of extrusion base and silicone coated release liners for the converting industry. We

have manufacturing operations throughout the U.S., Europe, China, Thailand and India. We are currently looking for an experienced


Industrial Maintenance 1st Class Electrician or Controls Technician to work in the Malvern facility.


The successful candidate is responsible for keeping production machinery operating, performing preventive maintenance, and servicing

plant support systems. Candidate must be able to diagnose and repair machinery, perform mechanical/electronic/electrical control

maintenance or preventive maintenance for the production machines, safety interlock systems and hoists.



*MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULE* 2 weeks of Day Shift (6a-6p), 2 weeks of Night Shift (6p-6a), 2 weekends Off. Each work week is 42 hours.
This role is within the United Steel Workers local 333 Union workforce.




PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and follow all applicable safety and environmental requirements.
• Understand and follow parameters on work orders, schedules, and special instructions.
• Maintain, repair, and adjust electrical equipment including circuitry, manual & electronic controls, motors, inter-locking systems, heating controls, sensing devices, DC & AC drives, PLC's and any related components.
• Install electrical for all new equipment.
• Read, document, & maintain electrical modifications to equipment in schematic drawings.
• Input information into the maintenance management systems and keep documents and records complete.
• It is understood that this list of responsibilities is not all encompassing and that we are all expected to do any other duties that may be assigned to our jobs.
• Experience with Alan Bradley and Siemens machinery a plus.

JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must act in a professional manner and have a positive work attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
• 2 to 4 years' experience as an Electronic Tech or equivalent electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Must have education, electrical training, experience, and initiative to work in a safe manner.
• Physical ability to perform the required work including bending, climbing, stooping, handling heavy materials (50 lb. max.), and equipment components in and around the plant.
• Employees will be required to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves and steel toe shoes. All required PPE is provided by Loparex.
