What will you be doing?
Circana is evolving its Global Tax function to operate as a proactive, technology-driven business partner. The International Tax Director plays a key role in driving the global tax strategy and planning initiatives for our large and complex multinational organization. This role requires deep expertise in international tax laws, cross-border transactions, and tax risk management.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement international tax strategies to optimize the Company's global tax position.
Provide guidance on cross-border transactions, mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.
Communicate clearly on complicated tax matters and provide high level summaries.
Analyze the impact of tax policy changes.
Ensure compliance with international tax laws, including OECD guidelines, BEPS initiatives and local country initiatives.
Review U.S. international tax calculations, forms and disclosures.
Review local country filings and oversee withholding tax process.
Manage tax audits, working with external advisors and tax authorities.
Develop and maintain global transfer pricing policies, documentation and compliance strategies.
Monitor intercompany transactions to ensure alignment with tax regulations.
Work closely with advisors on benchmarking studies to support transfer pricing strategies.
Partner with finance, legal and treasury leaders to align tax strategies with corporate objectives.
Represent the company in discussions with external tax advisors, auditors and governmental agencies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with master's degree or law degree.
CPA, JD or equivalent certification.
10-12+ years of international tax experience, with Big 4 experience required.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and international tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in tax research tools and financial modeling.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage teams and influence stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $175,000.00 to $200,000.00.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
