Arizona Materials, a Summit Materials LLC company, is seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position involves performing a variety of tasks related to general plant maintenance, maintenance of equipment operations, welding, cutting, and fabrication. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections of batch plants to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns, including batch plants, conveyors, hoppers, and other plant equipment.
Operate loaders to move materials and assist with plant operations as needed.
Conduct troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
Perform welding and fabrication work to repair or modify equipment (preferred but not required).
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure minimal disruption during repairs or maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report issues promptly.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience in plant maintenance or batch plant operations, required.
Experience operating loaders for material handling and other plant activities, required.
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and repair mechanical and structural issues within the plant.
Experience in welding and cutting operations, preferred
Ability to fabricate parts and components for plant equipment and infrastructure.
Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus.
Loader experience is a plus
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Familiarity with safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
