Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Java Developer


Position type: Contract
Duration: Six months, with extensions.
Location: Hybrid 2X a week in Rockville, MD

Job Description:

We're looking for a seasoned Java Developer. You'll be part of a team that is creating internal tools for the CIS team. You'll work
collaboratively with stakeholders following an agile process to produce working software that delights our customers.

Responsibilities:

- produce software/products in agile software development settings;
- collaboratively work with stake holders, developers, testers;
- deliver software with regular cadence;
- write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- help users/customers get the most of the software delivered.

Qualifications:

- must have at least 8-10 years of software development experience;
- demonstrable ability in breaking down complex problems and generating solutions;
- effective in leveraging frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, etc;
- experience developing RESTful services in Java, Spring and related technologies;
- proficient in SQL;
- experience leveraging AWS technologies; familiarity with Azure, GCP or other cloud technologies;
- experience developing single-page apps in JavaScript/TypeScript using frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte etc.;
- experience with test frameworks/libraries, and testing methodologies;
- experience with DevOps tools and processes;
- familiarity with Cybersecurity concepts;
- BS in Comp Sci or a STEM field, or demonstrable understanding of CS concepts - ex. data structures and algorithms.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: 60-65hr C2C or W2.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
