Purpose: The Systems Engineer provides enterprise system technical support and Information Technology services to the bank and its affiliates. The System Engineer is responsible for the server and storage infrastructure, operating system and application maintenance, and technical/administrative support of enterprise business applications. By using monitoring and support tools and best practices, the Systems Engineer will ensure a high level of security, performance, and availability of all critical systems.

Essential Functions:
Document and update system configurations, architectures, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and analyze system performance and usage and recommend improvements or enhancements.
Monitors, maintains, and supports operational and security requirements for servers and applications.
Administer and support Windows, Linux, and VMware operating systems and applications, such as Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint, etc.
Install, configure, and manage server and storage hardware and software, including virtualization, backup, recovery, and replication technologies.
Ensures data security and recoverability for all supported systems.
Coordinate and collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and business users to provide technical guidance, support, and project delivery.
Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
Performs system maintenance on weekends and evenings as necessary.
Provides off-hours system support as part of an on-call rotation.

Prior Experience: 5+ years of working with enterprise-grade antivirus, SPAM filtering, and related system management solutions. Proficient in Citrix, VMWare, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365. Skilled in technology stack transformation and modernization, and partnership with DevOps groups.
