Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join their team in Georgia. This position involves managing high-volume accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and capable of handling a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
Process and manage accounts payable using QuickBooks and Excel.
Handle 75-100 invoices per day, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve invoice processing.
Maintain organized records and files of all accounts payable transactions.
Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciliations.
Assist with vendor communications and address any inquiries or issues.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Experience with QuickBooks and Excel is required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices.
Effective communication skills for vendor and internal interactions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
Required Work Hours
Monday through Friday, first shift.
Benefits
Competitive pay with a range from $21 to $23 per hour.
