Position Overview



Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join their team in Georgia. This position involves managing high-volume accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and capable of handling a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities



  • Process and manage accounts payable using QuickBooks and Excel.

  • Handle 75-100 invoices per day, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve invoice processing.

  • Maintain organized records and files of all accounts payable transactions.

  • Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciliations.

  • Assist with vendor communications and address any inquiries or issues.

  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.


Qualifications



  • Experience with QuickBooks and Excel is required.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices.

  • Effective communication skills for vendor and internal interactions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.


Required Work Hours



Monday through Friday, first shift.

Benefits



Competitive pay with a range from $21 to $23 per hour.
