Job Description:

TITLE: HVAC Refrigerant Loop Design Release Engineer

DUTIES: Responsible for the development and validation of the automotive HVAC compressor, A/C lines and chiller. Ensure components meet performance objectives and coordinate development with other functional areas such as powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling and suppliers. Write source packages, specifications, requirements, change notices and overall supplier management to meet program timing and deliverables. Maintain a component and sub-system DVP&R, support and keep up to date with component bench testing, simulation, drive-cell and static cell test results as well as perform data analysis and establish proper corrective actions as required. Lead virtual team to design and perform CFD and FEA analysis for components to meet performance. Support pilot build process at the assembly plant for development and installation of HVAC components.
