Responsibilities:
The Coordinator of Creative Services is responsible for the day-to-day publicity of the Mercer University Football Team. Individual responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing all social media outlets (Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) for the Mercer University Football team, while creating engaging content (social media graphics, videos, individual player awards, etc.) for those outlets. The candidate will also be responsible for managing Mercer Football’s team website as well as the summer camp website. This position will also act as a liaison to the Recruiting Coordinator and other coaches and prospective student athletes.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing or related field and one year of prior related experience is required. In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience will be considered.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be approved by the university's carrier as this position may require some travel.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to work cooperatively with other University Departments
Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations
Organizational Skills
Ability to use Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with experience in Premier and After Effects preferred.
Willingness to work on the weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays
Willingness to travel on away trips
High degree of integrity; ability to use good judgement
