About the Position

Were looking for a sharp, detail-focused Strategic Reporting Manager to take the lead in developing and maintaining cutting-edge reporting systems that drive smarter business decisions. In this role, you'll design and manage reporting frameworks that align with our strategic goals, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to analyze performance, uncover trends, and ensure our reporting processes empower decision-making at every level of the organization. This is a long term, full-time, onsite position located in the New York City metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems to track organizational performance against strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret data for reporting purposes.
  • Create and present detailed reports and dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational reporting standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Lead the implementation of new reporting tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Data Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic reporting, data analysis, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, or similar field.
  • Certification in Power BI, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), or related certifications.
  • Experience working with New York City, and New York State public agencies is highly desirable. 

Compensation Details

The salary range listed for this role is $124k-$200k/yr ($60-$98/hr). The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidates level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
