Description:
Overview:
Lead the financial reporting function for the organization, including all internal and external quarterly and annual reporting of financial performance and position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers:
Leads and manages the preparation of all financial reporting including internal reports supplied for executive management and board of director. This includes, preparing, analyzing and reviewing quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, and management discussion and analysis
Oversees compliance with statutory accounting principles and procedures, generally accepted accounting practices and procedures, as well as regulatory and other external financial filing requirements.

Researches and implements changes in accounting rules, regulatory filing requirements, organization and company operations. Provides guidance to other areas as it relates to financial reporting requirements.
Collaborate with internal Business Intelligence resources to enhance and create financial reporting related dashboards, reporting and tools.
Develop, enhance and maintain a rigorous internal control structure around financial reporting and data.
Supervising, training and mentoring staff with duties related to corporate accounting and reporting
Assist with ad-hoc information requests, reporting needs and cross-functional projects as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters degree preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) active licensure
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial reporting, public accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
