Your Role:
The Chemical Filler/Labeler - 3rd Shift will be responsible for packaging hazardous liquids into various container sizes and styles. This role requires adherence to all filling procedures and closure specifications, ensuring that packages are accurately labeled and that finished units and cartons are properly palletized. Job duties include:
This position is a union role represented by Teamsters Local 100.
Operate equipment, including weigh scales and filling machinery.
Accurately and legibly document batch information.
Read and interpret material safety data sheets and other pertinent documents relating to safety, customer requirements and procedures
Physical Attributes:
The role involves frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting/carrying up to 70 pounds consistently.
Involves overhead lifting and reaching, as well as manual dexterity.
Ability to use color vision, as well as close and distance vision.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
1 + years manufacturing experience
Experience working second/night shift
Learn and apply safe, functional, and efficient work practices
Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
