Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Transportation Director to lead and oversee our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transportation management, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement transportation policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  
  


• Oversee the planning and execution of transportation activities, including route optimization, fleet management, and logistics coordination.
  
  


• Manage and lead a team of transportation professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
  
  


• Monitor and evaluate the performance of transportation operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  
  


• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  
  


• Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation processes and enhance overall service delivery.
  
  


• Develop and manage the transportation budget, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
  
  


• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  
  


• Proven experience in transportation management or a similar leadership role.
  
  


• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, logistics, and fleet management.
  
  


• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  
  


• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  
  


• Proficiency in using transportation management software and other relevant technology.
  
  


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
