Overview

Job Title: Database Administrator

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities

Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Database Administrator to support the databases and related systems for the Los Angeles AFB in support of the 61st CS. This is a pipeline position.

The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support for databases required by 61 CS, including but not limited MS SQL, and Oracle databases and related systems.
• Develop, document, administer, modify, patch, and maintain databases to support mission requirements as identified by the 61 CS.
• Maintain all development documentation and source code within LAAFB EIS.
• Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions. 
• Other duties as required.

Work is performed full-time on site in Los Angeles, CA.

 

In compliance with California's Pay Transparency requirements, the following information is being disclosed. If the position applied to is not located in California, the following information may not apply. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Trace salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, Trace provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, flexible spending accounts, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, company holidays and paid time off (PTO).

 

Salary Minimum:   $50,000

Salary Maximum:  $99,000

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
• Cloud+ or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CISA or CISSP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP or Microsoft: MCSA or equivalent or higher level certifications.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science OR 5 years of relevant experience.
