Job Description:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Request, gather, and analyze accounting and tax information for US consolidated federal income tax returns, state & local income tax returns, and a variety of annual reports.

  2. Communicate with business units and regulatory authorities to address and resolve questions.

  3. Assist in the calculation, preparation, coordination, and timely filing of federal and state income tax returns, estimated payments and extension payments.

  4. Assist in the resolution of federal and state audits and notices.

  5. Assist with tax research and analysis.

  6. Assist with calculation and analysis of tax depreciation for various subsidiaries.

  7. Participate in special projects and tax planning as needed.

  8. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to facilitate streamlining and automation for tax compliance, reporting and planning.

  9. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by remaining current on existing and new tax regulations and communicate the impact of new tax developments.

Position Requirements


  •  Bachelor's degree required - accounting or related field.

  • CPA or working towards CPA designation preferred.

  • 1-4 years of tax compliance experience.

  • Robust MS Excel skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

  • Self-starter and team player.

  • Effective communicator who can work well with individuals both horizontally and vertically within the company as well as with external parties.

  • The desire to continually learn and develop as both an individual and employee.
