Overview:

In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. You will lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of web applications and cloud-based applications used by the federal government to conduct tracking, analysis, reporting, decision-making, and statistical assessment of data related to matters of public health scientific research. You will work with complex data sets to build repositories, databases, and other technical components used for BI. Core technologies include Oracle, SQL Server, Qlik, Microsoft Azure, PowerApps, SharePoint Online. Work with engineers, database admins, architects and end-users to enhance BI applications needed to perform business operations and research objectives.

• Location: Hybrid role in Bethesda, MD.

• Clearance: This position supports a federal contract and requires the ability to pass a background check.

What Youll do:

• Lead business intelligence development of solutions within an agile DevOps environment Develop, advise, review, and perfect technical work products and technical deliverables necessary to analyze, implement, and streamline where required the Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) process as well as other System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.

Required knowledge and skills

• Master’s degree preferred. A Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of additional related experience is acceptable in lieu of a Master’s degree.
• Min 10 years’ experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle.
• Min 4 years’ experience with Qlik Sense/QlikView.
• Min 5 years’ experience retrieving data from Federal enterprise data warehouses.

Abilities

• Understanding of Federal Government policies and procedures and demonstrated ability to meet fast turnaround deadlines.

Nice to haves

• Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate or Qlik Sense / Qlik View certification.

Salary Range:

• Salary range is $150,000-165,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
