Position summary:
The Quality Technician I will be responsible for performing advanced dimensional and visual inspections for various manufacturing processes. This role will also perform inspections using various methods and equipment, complete appropriate quality records within company and GMP guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections in support of first article, gage R&R, and process capability studies
Audit and train employees in the proper use of inspection equipment and documentation
Interpret SPC results
Manually operate and program various precision testing equipment including but not limited to tool scope, CMM, and vision systems
Effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills to facilitate an effective working relationship with customers, suppliers, and coworkers
Recommend changes to quality documentation
Perform key responsibilities of a Quality Inspector
Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists
Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
Accurately record and report hours worked
Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
3 years of experience in quality assurance
Knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance
Intermediate GD&T
Problem analysis and solving
Manage multiple requirements and deadlines
Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
Ability to use a microscope and hand tools
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of ISO 9001/13485
Quality certifications
Pay Range
USD $24.66 - USD $29.00 /Hr.Company Benefits

20+hours:
