What to Expect


The Asset Liability Management Application Associate, as part of a robust treasury risk management framework, will perform the daily and monthly Asset Liability Management (ALM) data and validation processes, support corporate ALM technical and data infrastructure, assist with upgrades of the data Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, procedure automation/improvement, financial product configuration and calculation demonstration, and draft procedure documentation and compliance. In addition, this role will support communication to internal and external stakeholders.



What You Will Do


1. Asset Liability Management (ALM)

• Operate daily and monthly interest rate market data and ALM data process.

• Collaborate with IT, accounting, finance, risk on data validation.

• Perform timely process error diagnostic, and ALM results validation.

• Support corporate in-house market data interface development, maintenance, and application/data usage control.

• Assist with working procedures to aid in stress scenario analysis, valuation simulation, dynamic balance sheet and ad-hoc business requirements.

2. Technical Support

• Support ETL process design for new data source, including product configuration in KRM application, and data procedure enhancement,

• Perform user acceptance testing and results validation to support corporate asset liability management strategy and financial reporting

• Collaborate with IT for infrastructure maintenance and technical support.

• Provide data support and streamline data process for other teams.

3. Documentation

• Perform documentation on procedures, configuration assumption, and analytics demonstration for auditing, compliance and model governance.



Qualifications




What You Will Bring


• Minimum 2-4 years related experience in data analytics with large data sets, including knowledge of SQL, fixed income, financial derivative etc. required.

• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) / Integration Services (SSIS) and building/maintaining OLAP cubes preferred

• Experience with ALM systems (KRM, QRM, etc.) preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics required.

• Master's degree in Financial Engineering, Finance or Data Analytics preferred.

• Certified CFA and FRM preferred.

• Proficient in writing stored procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Familiarity with languages such as VBA, R, SAS, Python.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a highly time-sensitive, dynamic, and growing environment.

• Overtime duty for month-end close might be needed in the first half of the month .

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.

• Solid work ethic and dedication to excellence.



Work Environment


Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
