The Department of Educational Leadership seeks qualified candidates to teach courses across the department curriculum. This is a part-time, pooled position filled on an as-needed basis. Adjunct instructors are responsible for delivering instruction, maintaining communication, and ensuring timely submission of student grades and records.
What You'll Do - Position Responsibilities:
Instruction and Course Management
Teach assigned courses at scheduled times using effective and current pedagogical methods.
Prepare and deliver course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments aligned with departmental learning objectives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, progress, and grades.
Student and Department Communication
Maintain effective and timely communication with students regarding course expectations, progress, and feedback.
Communicate regularly with the department chair and relevant program coordinators regarding course updates, challenges, or student concerns.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 25 lbs. and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing and walking between buildings.

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
Earned graduate degree in Educational Leadership or other discipline relevant to the teaching area from an accredited institution.
