What You'll Do - Position Responsibilities:


  • Teach HRM courses such as Human Resource Management, Advanced Organizational Behavior, Personal and Team Leadership, and Compensation Management. Candidate must be able to teach other closely aligned courses if required. Mentoring students and advising student organizations are required.

  • Research and publish in scholarly journals, preferably ABDC ranked ones. Candidate must also stay active in the discipline by presenting at conferences.

  • Service demonstrated by active participation in department, college, and university committees

Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):



  • Earned doctorate in in business with specialization in Management or Human Resource Management, from an AACSB accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered; however, an earned doctorate in in business with specialization in Human Resources, or closely related field, from an AACSB accredited institution is a necessary condition for contract renewal. ABD candidates will be hired into a terminal appointment at the rank of Instructor with a rate determined at the time of hire. Upon degree conferral during the terminal period, the contracted appointment with the rank of Assistant Professor will be reinstated.

  • The ability to teach the HRM courses such as Human Resource Management, Advanced Organizational Behavior, Personal and Team Leadership, and Compensation Management is required.


Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience):



  • Previous experience with delivering online learning content, and familiarity with course management software, such as Blackboard.
