Adult Oncology Clinical Dietitian I at University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa

Job Description:

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food & Nutrition is seeking a Clinical Dietitian I to use Nutrition Care Process to assess, evaluate, and provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling for the oncology adult and geriatric inpatient populations.


Other duties include:

Teach Master of Clinical Nutrition Students

Participate in multidisciplinary teams and develops nutritional components of care

Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's status according to age.

Salary: $57,000 - Commensurate

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• A Master's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates registered prior to January 01, 2024 a Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Certifications

• Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required
• Licensure by the State of Iowa is required
