In this role you will be responsible for the preparation and assembly of mechanical components.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for assembly of various items to meet customer requirements and to support the production schedule
Examine and inspect component parts, inspect first article produced to ensure conformance
Verify assembly of parts conforms to drawing(s), to all stated tolerances, and QC requirements
Communicate effectively with fellow operators, supervisors, engineers, and management personnel within the company
Accurately process production records, inventory items, and time sheets.
Process and complete all required QC documentation and records
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of fixtures and tooling
Accurately fills out production records, inventory, time sheet, test reports, and other documentation
Ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times
Responsible for all work areas to kept clean, orderly and safe
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Understanding of basic mechanical assembly.
Able to properly use and read calipers and tape measures
Use of hand tools including: saw, grinder, and sander
Able to perform physically demanding work: standing, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. regularly
Education/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Six (6) months or more of assembly and/or general labor experience preferred
