Job Summary:
The Director, NA HR provides supervision of and leadership to Plant HR Teams and HDIS HR. The Director, NA HR also partners with assigned business leaders & Corporate resources to achieve strategic goals. The Director, NA HR serves as an influential business partner driving and aligning business initiatives partnering with corporate resources to provide expert consultation on employee relations, workforce planning, total rewards, talent management, employee engagement, mergers and acquisition activity, HR metrics and policy management. This role will provide expertise for complex business and HR issue resolution.
Key responsibilities:
Business partner and strategic HR resource for all North American teams, corporate office and remote sales teams.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on general employee relations initiatives, talent related projects, salary administration and performance management.
Directs and/or performs internal investigations of escalated employee claims; Manages the resolution of significant employee issues.
Partner with SVP of HR on strategic initiatives. Provide counsel and input on possible impacts of decisions. Provide recommendations & assistance on key strategic activities in the interest of ensuring a positive work culture and to continually improve the HR function.
Lead change management efforts related to organizational restructuring, process improvements, and cultural transformation initiatives, ensuring effective communication and support for employees.
Lead initiatives to optimize the use of the Workday HRIS, including enhancements to data integrity, reporting capabilities, and user experience, while providing training and support to HR staff and end-users.
Ensure comprehensive talent initiatives nurture and enhance the skills and capabilities of employees at all levels. This includes working with TA team on creating career development plans, leadership training programs, and continuous learning opportunities to ensure a robust pipeline of talent ready to meet the organization's future needs.
Utilize HR analytics and metrics to assess workforce trends, inform talent strategies, and drive business decisions.
Directly supervises, leads and develops the Plant HR Teams & HDIS HR
Develop and execute HR strategies that align with Attindas' business objectives in North America, ensuring effective support for operational goals across all facilities.
Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and grievances, managing conflict resolution, and promoting open communication between management and employees.
Champion DEI initiatives across North America, ensuring that hiring practices, employee development, and workplace culture promote inclusivity and equal opportunity.
Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align HR initiatives with business strategies, fostering collaboration and ensuring HR support for operational objectives.
Leads and manages all compliance, regulatory, and legal related issues including governmental inquiries particularly as it applies to North America.
Identifies, develops, and coordinates with corporate and local HR to strategically develop and implements new policy and procedures for NA and administration of Employee Handbook.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in HR Field or related field
Experience developing and implementing Human Resources strategic plans
Broad Corporate HR and Employee Relations experience
Mastery of Human Resources functional areas
15 years progressive HR experience
Experienced in multi-site experience and in manufacturing environments
HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP)

Graduate Degree
