Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading warehouse staff and overseeing warehouse operations according to project and department standards
• Oversee, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines

• Oversee the quality control and training of warehouse staff.
• Ensures procedures are being performed to improve quality, cost and cycle times
• Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment is operating safely and smoothly
• Identify and document logistic support deficiencies and recommend process improvements
• Assist in the procurement, tracking and receipt of materials/supplies/equipment
• Adhere to and manage the approved budget

• Inventory management and documentation. Record/track items and complete required reports, etc.

• Match packing slips to inventory items received
• Restock shelves as new products/supplies arrive
• Prepare items for delivery to the project site as applicable
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
• Safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, fork lift, etc.) as needed
• Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
• Other duties as needed and as required.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Lead, Supervisor or Manager is preferred.
• Prior experience in Logistics and/or Warehouse operations (including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory) is a plus
• Reliable and available/willing to work days, evenings and/or weekends per business needs.
• Able to quickly learn and demonstrate understanding of project warehouse operations.
• Able to work independently as well as effectively lead, motivate and oversee warehouse staff.
• Able to effectively delegate duties to appropriate warehouse staff and ensure that their work is performed according to project / department expectations.
• Able to maintain a professional disposition, even under pressure.

• Strong communication skills (written and oral) and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Meticulous and detail oriented
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and readily able to learn company software.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
• May need to be certified to operate a forklift; Forklift Operator experience is preferred
• Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment is operating safely and smoothly
• Must be able to lift / move up to 50 lbs
• Active, valid driver's license with a good driving record.
