Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct environmental inspections at construction sites, facilities, and other locations to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
• Identify and report any environmental violations or risks, such as pollution, hazardous waste management, and water/air quality issues.
• Collect and analyze samples of soil, air, water, and other environmental media for testing and compliance purposes.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to implement best practices and ensure environmental standards are met.
• Monitor compliance with environmental permits, including waste disposal, stormwater management, and air quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, violations, permits, and corrective actions.
• Stay updated on relevant environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to mitigate environmental risks and enhance sustainability efforts.
• Participate in environmental audits and risk assessments as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in environmental inspections or environmental compliance roles (2+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
• Ability to read and interpret environmental laws, regulations, and permits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools, environmental monitoring equipment, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
