We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our Data Office and contribute to a new Data Modernization Program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, programming, and business intelligence (BI) tools, with a focus on enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency. This role involves working with complex datasets, optimizing data processes, and collaborating in a dynamic, evolving data environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
Develop reports and visualizations using Tableau Server.
Generate ad-hoc reports and data extracts as needed.
Validate data accuracy and perform advanced data mining.
Data Pipeline & Process Improvement
Identify gaps in current data extraction processes.
Propose and implement solutions to improve data pipelines.
Work closely with developers to align with business requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers.
Contribute expertise to data modernization initiatives.
Project Management
Handle multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Innovation & Process Improvement
Drive process innovation to enhance user experience.
Support the development of KPI tools and reports.
Create business and system documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Snowflake, SharePoint, and Tableau.
Experience working with diverse data sources, including EHRs, enrollment platforms, and operational applications.
Ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
Business Acumen
Strong understanding of business and regulatory requirements and their impact on technology.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver solutions under pressure.
Communication & Collaboration
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Education & Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
3+ years of experience as a programmer/developer, preferably in healthcare.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, Snowflake, SharePoint, Tableau, and other BI tools.
Experience working in evolving data environments with imperfect systems.
