Job Summary:




As a key member of the Wellstar Brand and Marketing Team, the Director, Service Line Marketing will oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, campaigns, and experiences for assigned service lines. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the growth, differentiation, and engagement of Wellstar's service lines while ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching brand purpose. Reporting to the Executive Director of Service Line Marketing, this role requires a balance of strategic thinking, tactical execution, and collaborative leadership.
The Director, Service Line Marketing will develop and execute annual marketing plans, steward creative and media initiatives, manage cross-functional collaboration, and monitor campaign performance. This position combines subject matter expertise, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for delivering impactful, purpose-driven marketing strategies.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:




Strategic Leadership and Planning
Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for assigned service lines, ensuring alignment with business goals and brand objectives.
Partner with the Integrated Marketing team to identify and implement value-add initiatives that enhance brand impact.
Oversee annual marketing planning and budgeting for service lines, including audience insights, creative direction, media planning, and performance metrics.
Ensure marketing plans and campaigns align with the broader organizational mission and service line differentiators.
Campaign Development and Execution
Oversee end-to-end execution of service line marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels, working with internal and external partners, including creative and media agencies.
Directly manage the execution of creative, digital, and traditional media tactics, ensuring all deliverables meet marketing objectives and adhere to brand guidelines.
Partner with agencies to deploy targeted, high-impact media strategies across social, video, display, SEM, and emerging platforms.
Maintain a deep understanding of digital channels, CRM, and website strategies to execute owned channel initiatives effectively.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Analyze and report campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize future efforts.
Create monthly reporting dashboards for service line campaigns, detailing outcomes across media, communications, and business goals.
Collaborate with analytics teams to measure campaign ROI and share learnings with stakeholders.
Relationship and Team Management
Build strong, collaborative relationships with service line stakeholders and cross-functional partners (creative studio, digital marketing, analytics, PR).
Directly manage and mentor a Manager, Service Line Marketing, fostering professional growth and ensuring seamless collaboration.
Influence outcomes by aligning multiple internal and external partners around shared goals and timelines.
Subject Matter Expertise and Continuous Improvement
Act as a subject matter expert for assigned service lines, leveraging insights into the target audience, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Stay informed of healthcare and marketing industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
Contribute to refining service line marketing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Education:




Bachelor's Degree Required or
Master's Degree Preferred




Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):




All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.







    Additional License(s) and Certification(s):






    Required Minimum Experience:




    Minimum 8 years 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including strategic planning and campaign execution. Required and
    Minimum 3 years 3+ years of leadership experience managing direct reports and collaborating with senior stakeholders. Required
    Minimum 2 years Prior healthcare marketing experience preferred. Preferred




    Required Minimum Skills:




    Knowledge of MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). High
    Google Analytics and Datorama a plus. Medium
    Exceptional understanding of the digital/social media landscape, you are a digital/social native and well-versed in media and measurement High
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, naturally collaborative with the ability to work across different levels of seniority and business functions High
    Operates independently and efciently to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and successfully, without sacricing quality High
    Comfort and ability to manage ambiguity High
