Job Description:

Join our team as a Packer at AMETEK LMS. Are you a Packer looking for a rewarding career in a clean and organized manufacturing enfironment? AMETEK LMS is seeking a Packer to join our dynamic production team.

The Packer will:

• Determines proper packing material based on type of product or material. Builds cartons, tubes, skids, redi-crates and wood crates of different sizes to properly pack the product or material.
• Processes packed orders using the MRP system to accommodate the required method of shipment byscheduling in the UPS system or staging for other small box or LTL carrier pick up.
• Loads packed and processed material onto carrier trucks using pallet jacks, sit-down forklift, hoist, etc.
• Operates electrical and pneumatic tools, standard construction and mechanical tools, weight scales, and computer.
• Possesses beginning to basic knowledge of the subject matte.

Packer Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
• No prior experience or training is required, although is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend, in ENGLISH, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and tocommunicate in English in one-on-one and small group situations to other associates of the organization.
• Ability to use basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Salary and Benefits: Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, AMETEK provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee assistance program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
