Electrical Estimator/Journeyman Electrician at PPC PARTNERS in New Berlin, Wisconsin

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented person with experience with electrical work for industrial applications. This position can be hybrid-we're looking for someone with experience as an electrician who wants to move out of the field into the office. It is open to union or nonunion employees. Here's what you'll do:

• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.


• Comprehend industrial electrical applications and code.


• Comprehend industrial electrical control schematics and drawings.


• Prepare disciplined estimates by calculating complete take-off of scope of work.


• Coordinate estimating effort relevant to particular estimate as assigned.


• Review and approve take-off and estimates done by estimator trainees under him/her.


• Submit bids and proposals on projects estimates.


• Prepare breakdown of estimate. Provide estimate information to Project Manager.


• Prepare reports as requested.


• Introduce cost saving ideas through redesign (Value Engineering opportunities).
